Heal The World

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

Michael Jackson’s song that inspires. He hopes for peace albeit being end up in court sued by desperate parents who concern bout their child. I like this song and I hope people really listen to the lyrics and learn to become a nice and humble mankind. :)

Theres a place in your heart
And I know that it is love
And this place could be much
Brighter than tomorrow
And if you really try
You’ll find theres no need to cry
In this place you’ll feel
There is no hurt or sorrow

There are ways
To get there
If you care enough
For the living
Make a little space
Make a better place…

Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough
For the living
Make a better place
For you and for me

If you want to know why
Theres a love that cannot lie
Love is strong & it only cares for
Joyful giving
If we try We shall see
In this bliss We cannot feel
Fear or dread
We stop existing & start living

Then it feels that always
Loves enough for us growing
So make a better world
Make a better world…

Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough
For the living
Make a better place
For you and for me

And the dream we were
Conceived in
Will reveal a joyful face
And the world we once believed in
Will shine again in grace
Then why do we keep strangling life
Wound this earth & crucify its soul
Though its plain to see
This world is heavenly be gods glow

We could fly so high
Let our spirits never die
In my heart I feel you are all
My brothers
Create a world with no fear
Together we cry happy tears
See the nations turn their swords
Into plowshares

We could really get there
If you cared enough
For the living
Make a little space
To make a better place…

Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough
For the living
Make a better place
For you and for me

A piece of my mind

Rainy Days…
                  Coolish Nights…
We sat down and have a feast

                    No Stars, No Mist…
What’s left is night breeze.

Amidst in this moment
                    I wish it could last
Falls from heaven
                    I need a fast

Runaway isn’t a solution
                    Face it until completion
In this frozen night
                    I had a fight
against my notion of dissolution

Obsession crawls over tiresome
makes me fall asleep into moonless dreams
Have a lovely slumber

Vietnamese food

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

My friend said I remind him of CHINATOWN FOOD every time he sees me, maybe because my face represents the famous beef noodles that located in

Chinatown

. Here I am to recommend a few dishes served at Vietnam Kitchen.

Vietnamese cuisine is known for its common use of fish sauce, soy sauce and hoisin sauce. Vietnamese recipes use many vegetables, herbs and spices, including lemon grass, lime, and kaffir lime leaves. Throughout all regions the emphasis is always on serving fresh vegetables and/or fresh herbs as side dishes along with dipping sauce. The Vietnamese also have a number of Buddhist vegetarian dishes. The most common meats used in Vietnamese cuisine are pork, beef, prawns, various kinds of tropical fish, and chicken. Duck is used less widely. – by Wiki

One of the Vietnamese famous dishes is chicken steak black sesame rice cooked with lemon grass. What so special about is the steak that was grilled tenderly and if you are to eat, I suggested you to dip it with specially made herb sauce; or if you prefer the original taste, just chew it!

Another healthy dish is the Salad Spring roll- Rice paper rolled with lemon grass, sliced carrots, rice vermicelli, shrimp and dipped into spicy peanut sauce. Spring rolls almost constitute an entire category of Vietnamese foods, as there are numerous different kinds of spring rolls with different ingredients in them.

Vietnam

coffee is another priority of mine when I dine because the taste is different from the coffee made in Kopitiam or Starbucks. Normally it is strong coffee served with condensed milk at the bottom of the cup to be stirred in (I am not good enough to describe the taste but you can try it, price is reasonable @ only RM 5.90).

Vietnam

beef noodles soup has a variety of choices too and I had tried both original beef noodles soup and spicy beef noodles soup. Somehow, I still prefer consuming beef noodles along Jln Alor or Chinatown under the heat with icy herb tea. :P

Convocation = Consumption

Saturday, March 17th, 2007

Today is my convo, I am excited and happy to see my
classmates. We are not very close, but I enjoy studying, working, clubbing,
singing, hanging out with them. I still prefer secondary and uni frens compare
to those workin ones.

Convocation = Consumption. The convo attires, the hall
rental, the photos and miscellaneous have cost RM 500, excluding the flowers
and family album / personal album… which may end up around RM 1000. Business is
business, should avoid affecting such divine graduation ceremony… Sigh!

During the convo, I realized that UTAR has a lot of prominent
graduands (formerly, I was stuck in a small FAS (PC Block, apart from other
faculties which forbidden me from the discovery of many fantabulous people) Andrew-
the semi-finalist of 1st
Malaysian Idol season is one of the
computer science 1st
honors graduand, also a freaky coz he has his
hair set in Dynasty Qing hairstyle to show tat he is OUTSTANDING!! & Karen –
an upcoming singer who just released her Malay album (the CINTA HELLO KITTY
song) is accounting student. I foresee that UTAR students have numerous
unpredictable potential in terms of academically or aesthetically.

Fatigue but happy to know that actually I am studying in the
right UNI albeit I used to blame UTAR a lot for giving me a BAD environment and
facilities, Car park nightmares & funny exhausting schedules. All this is bcoz
we are the first few batches who has to suffer for our inheritor, such as my
sisters & brothers who can enjoy in a better environment @ Kampar on 2007. The
Greater the Struggle, The Greater the Reward, finally all my friends are
graduate with flying colors, it’s a pleasure!

All the BEST to my friends~
