The reasons why I like to watch Western drama series are because everytime, feels like I am watching an entire different lifestyle of the other side of the world which I dont have and will not have in my entire life. Apart from documentary & news, drama series is one way to content my curiosity whilst the nice sentimental, soft rock music always awaken my unanimated cell.

Albeit knowing that what depicts on the drama may not be the real thing that happened, it could be exaggerated, distorted that makes people feels that American is indeed a crazy, dare to DREAM bunch… Im not sure if they are and if their life is as brilliant as what I saw in the series.

I was still a childish minded girl during highschool, where I have to fight for exam or involved in school activities whereas the Mean girls in the series were either having affairs with their teachers, involve in girl fight or partying throughout the days. The total distinction of lifestyle(food, culture, mindset, attitude, behavior…) brought my curiosity to watch these series.

Recently, some local drama series that I saw such as Gol & Gincu has started taking angle of the scene of Western teenage series such as ‘One Tree Hill’, ‘Mean Girls’… the way they look, talk and act are almost the same. I guess Gol & Gincu is one example of how Western culture deeply saturated into our life and drama. Even local chinese production series are also imitating the Singapore, Hong Kong & Taiwanese style during the acting… Where goes our own culture and lifestyle as we Malaysian should be proud of our own culture, religions and lifestyle, We should influence others to watch our drama series because we are DIFFERENT!

What makes Airasia so successful that now everyone can fly!? What brought 8tv to increase their viewers to high peak in such as short time? Because they are doing something DIFFERENT, something that is anticlockwise, that is out of the box. During a competition, a smart architecture dont design houses that are just OUTSTANDING & EYE-CATCHING, but they give ideas or concepts that are astounding and world-shaking.

Maybe it takes years to go for me to reach that level–> anticlockwise or Think out of the BOX as I have been following rules & regulations since small and Im lack of GUTS to do that.

*No harm to try, nothing to lose* In conclusion, I will start from now even im not well prepared. :)

Never know that there is such a beautiful island until I stepped my feet on the soft and silky beaches of Pulau Kapas. As an appreciation from the company, all who have had a hard day in the Terengganu resort were treated to the island for a day trip. It was a bright and sunny day & the volleyball game that was really fun!! The Senior General Manager who always pout due to onerous business affairs finally unfurled his friendly smile and relaxed with us. Again, I snorkelled into the sea to play with Nemo and Dolly and sit on the seacoast, lying and relaxing from the baldness days. Indeed a delightful day for me and never expected that the adventurous was yet to discover during the night…

We were out to fish squids!! Fishing at night is definitely scary and dangerous especially we were all without life jacket, the waves were big and we were all wet because the boat is navigating against the current. It was more exciting than sitting on a roller coasters. We were more sickening when the boat anchored, I cant even walk still and was afraid that I might fell into the deep darken sea. We have 2 baits in one wiring thread, and the spotlights were to attract the squids to swim forward and once we put the baits in the sea, within 5 mins, we can have squids rised to the baits. Together 3 boats, we have an affluent of 60kg squids.

This journey has enlightened my eyereach, I experienced new culture and custom, get to know more about the other native. Thanks for giving me this opportunity to discover more about lives, people and culture.

Never had a chance to snap shots of her facial expression that depicts lost, sorrow, hopeless & signals of becoming licentious due to the razorjob of a selfish man she used to love deeply with her soul. I always believe that the reasons of breaking up and betraying between 2 people are never utterly one person’s fault. After I realized that the most ever respected highschool prefect who was uphold by teachers and friends is actually a selfish idiot who tends to sip two cups of coffee at the same time. SHEA is that bitter cup who has undergone tough life since SHEA knew this man. Both were my best friends and I do not wish to see this happen. However, it did happened! And this incident has changed an innocent sincere SHEA into an insecure, realistic woman who never will trust men or people around her. Pathetic!?

The world is full of temptations where any single woman or man, if s/he is initiative and aggressive enough to chase for own happiness or s/he is just looking for someone to love and pamper, may turn up  becoming a 3rd party to another couple/family. Everyone is changing, like the weather very fast and unpredictable…
