Everything in the 21^st century is in the process of increasing. Petrol increase, food increase, daily supplies increase, natural disaster increase, weight increase, allowance increase, workload increase, unhappiness increase, stress increase…

More people are putting themselves in a multitask position, evolving from a day time blue collar to a peddler at the night market in order to earn extra income. Some female white collar transform into a waiter in night club for additional moola just to preserve their favorite shopping moment.

Our pace is moving faster & faster, meetings are held more than once a week in order to keep every decision abreast on the right path. The organization structure change dramatically where some huge monopolies make their sales person a mere sales negotiator (negotiate for $ when a deal is close) and the creative or marketing person is out to close deal especially when client’s demand grew higher and they count on every single cent they spent in details. The tasks of a marketing manager become tougher, thus, affect the sales person who serves as the front liner of an organization.

How to survive?!

Make yourself a super-duper-multi-tasker then anyone in the organization so that no jerk can ever use any threatening statement to scare you off!

Quit the current job if you feel really dissatisfy and unhappy. Move forward a simple life; if you have enough savings, opt for

Buy more lottery, chances of striking a beautiful numbers and win away an amount of cash w/o working for entire life is always there.

Marry a rich man/woman which is everyone’s dream.

Join more reality shows and become a celebrity or famous model where your publicity is there (positive or negative)

Involve in illegal business if you have nothing to lose.

Invest on yourself (take extra courses, learn foreign language, upgrade your skills…) and get someone to invest on you as share holder to run his/her business.

One of the latest social hang out places lately is the pubs & clubs lining up in the city center. These party places offer the best ambience and cordial that makes people more adventurous and bold than any other time and in any action. It has become the starter for business people to socialize with their clients during happy hour; the main course in the hedonist’s menu for a night out; the dessert for singles where cupid does his part time there.

The super VIPs (aka Party Queen or King) in da club always turn up on time to punch the party card, not to mention the table booked and constant investment on expensive liquor. The super Idol of everyone’s appetite dresses up nicely as if she/he is walking on the reddish carpet on another OSCAR academy awards, flirting all the way round like a colorful butterfly.

These are partial phenomenon one might see inside this illusory realm of timelessness, indulging self in arena of seduction and borderless morality. Forget about cocaine and poppers, there is no non-smoking area here… almost everyone is a big fan of Marboro cigars. Puffing, boasting and laughing around to release stress (that’s what everybody says) and shaking body with the pre-recorded hits music played by house Djs.

Ever wonder you wake up one morning and look into the mirror, find out your face is wrinkled and swelled due to exhausted night outing and your career doesn’t goes up because of that, your body is in red alarm, you are still singled because good men think you are just @#$X~ … and the list goes…
